The Lyman Split-Lock Die Locking Ring has been newly redesigned to be a step up from standard die locking rings. What makes this split-lock die locking ring different? It eliminates any possibility that the set screw will touch the die threads in any way. Why is it important to keep the set screw from touching the die threads? Because it eliminates the possibility of damage done to the threads. This feature sets the Lyman Split-Lock Die Locking Ring apart from other 7/8-inch-14 thread rings and it is threaded perfectly for use with standard reloading dies.
